Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published and is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
- The submission file is in both .docx and .pdf file format.
- The submission includes a title, an abstract, and several keywords
- The submission includes the complete affiliations of the author(s).
- Where available, URLs for the references and date of last access are provided.
- The text adheres to the requirements outlined in the ZWJW stylesheet or is adjusted accordingly after the publication is confirmed.
- The submission complies with the author guidelines on quality management, transparency and scientific standards defined in the journal's publication ethics.
Papers
Articles in this section should make an empirical or theoretical contribution to current issues in word formation (in all languages and in all linguistic fields, e.g. morphology, syntax, lexicology, phonology, semantics, pragmatics, language history, typology, dialectology, language acquisition and language contact) and can be submitted in German, English, French or Spanish.
Submissions will receive two double-blind peer-reviews and will be made available every six months free of charge to authors and readers under the CC-BY 4.0 licence.
